Terms & Conditions

"Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before engaging our services — they set out the agreement that keeps your wedding journey with us clear and transparent."

1. 01
   Booking Fee / Payment Terms

   The Booking fee of 50% secures the date, time and services of Amour Affairs for the event. This advance is non-refundable or non-transferable because when we commit dates to you, we turn away other enquiries and lose potential business. Balance payment has to be done before the last day of wedding. No photographs or wedding albums will be delivered until all payments due have been paid in full. Further negotiation won't be entertained once the Fees are decided. 18% GST would be applicable on all transaction.

   Services Provided

   Amour affairs will provide Professional Wedding Photography & Cinematography services as agreed upon in the contract. The specific details of the services, including the number of photographers, hours of coverage, deliverables, and pricing is mentioned in the quotation given.

3. 03
   Cancellation Fees

   Weddings that are postponed to a later date will retain the fee as long as the photographer can re-schedule for the new date and time. Cancellation due to any reason after booking us and making the booking payment, will not be refunded or transferred. All cancellations must be in writing.

   Delivery of Products and Services

   Delivery of the Pictures will be done after 60-90 working days after receiving the full payment. The supply of products and services are provided by the Photographer on a best endeavours basis. The Photographer shall not be liable for any delays in meeting any of his obligations which were due to causes beyond his reasonable control, including but not limited to; postage/courier, war/acts of terrorism, riots, government legislation, industrial action, adverse weather conditions, acts of God, floods, fire, loss or damage in transit etc.

   Special Requests / Coverage

   The client understands and accepts that the photographic coverage will be as the photographer's professional expertise, any suggestions/guidance by third party won't be entertained during the wedding; all the points are pre decided with the client. Special requests are not binding instructions, although every effort is made to comply with client's wishes. The photographers shall endeavour to fulfil the entire Clients' requirements, they cannot be held responsible for non-availability of subjects or adverse conditions which may delay the progress of proceedings, preventing the coverage of certain specified shots.

   Refund Policy

   Refund shall not be done, nor accept the return of/refusal to pay charges for, any technically acceptable photograph supplied either in print or in electronic format. No exception can be made as we cannot be held responsible for individual tastes or exceptions. If Amour Affairs cannot complete the wedding assignment either in part or in full due to an unforeseen accident and / or injury or in the very unlikely event of total photographic failure, resulting from events outside of control, Amour Affairs agrees to refund all the money paid by the Client thus far and have no further liability with respect to these terms.

   Images

   Due to a variety of lighting conditions and the limitations of digital sensors, some colors may alter throughout a set of photographs. It is sometimes impossible to record digitally the exact color as seen by the human eye.

8. 08
   Client's Usage and Copyrights

   We reserve all the copyrights to the pictures and utilize them for the benefit of our company. However, considering the privacy of our clients, we also give you the full usage rights to your wedding photos for non-commercial use. You can do whatever you want with your wedding photos (like making more albums, taking prints, sending them out to relatives, sharing them online. The only thing you cannot do is resell your wedding images - which we believe you certainly won't want to do! As the photographers, we reserve the artist copyright of all images/videos and reserve the right to use a selection to promote our own work on our website, social media, display areas, exhibitions, publications (online & offline), etc. However, we assure you that will not be selling these images or using them for other commercial gain.

9. 09
   Duration

   The time slot for every function will be decided beforehand. If the time exceeds the scheduled plan, Amour Affairs won't be responsible if there are any delays in the function. Our team will be present at the allotted time and if the time exceeds we shall be charging you accordingly for the extra hours.

10. 10
    Conduct

    The Client shall be responsible for the behaviour of any persons accompanying them to an assignment or any guest of theirs. The Photographer reserves the right to terminate any assignment without notice if he deems the Client's behaviour to be unruly or unsafe. In such instances, the Photographer reserves the right to charge his full fees and expenses as described above of these Terms and Conditions. The Client will fully reimburse the company or his agents for any loss/damage they cause to property or equipment.

11. 11
    Personal Accident

    Any directions issued to clients, their guests or employees during a photographic shoot are deemed to be at said persons own risk. The photographer cannot be held responsible for any personal accidents during a photographic shoot. If our Photographer being unable to attend your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. sudden illness, injury, victim of crime, flooding, act of god etc., we reserve the right to appoint another photographer to attend the wedding on our behalf to undertake the wedding photography to his / her best ability.

12. 12
    Failure to Pay

    Failure to pay the amount will cause no receiving of the photographs/videos or any other records made unless and until the balance payment is paid. We shall be starting with the Post Processing after receiving the full payment only. We shall not share any pictures or videos until and unless the payments are completed.

13. 13
    Governing Law and Jurisdiction

    This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Amour affairs operates.
