Long distance relationships are hard, but they’re also incredible. We understood this when we met Meenal and Shakti. They didn’t have it as easy as conventional couples, but theirs was no conventional love. 8 years of distance only made their love stronger. Overcoming all odds, on this day, not only the couple celebrated their victory, but their friends shared the same spirit. It was truly remarkable to see the happiness and excitement amongst everyone. Weddings are very special to us but what makes them all the more special are the stories behind them. The love, the struggles, the tears, the laughter and then the joy of becoming one! This wedding took place in the enchanting city of lakes, Bhopal. There was love in the air and we could feel it! Meenal’s mehendi was a light hearted and homely affair. She’s a natural beauty and although she did not glam up for this event, she still looked beautiful as all brides do.

Bringing in more festive vibes, the sangeet was a total ball. Meenal, her friends and family danced away into the night to their heart’s content. The bride looked happier than ever.

And it was all yellow Haldi

Indian traditions never fail to surprise us. We witnessed a completely new ceremony here and it was an absolute delight to capture it. The bride looked all the more radiant after the haldi ceremony. The guests had an ultimate haldi war as no one was spared from being painted yellow.

A promise of forever Wedding

As the wedding day arrived, we asked the groom to tell us how he felt. This is what he had to say – “The glimpses of all the 8 years are running in my mind; happiness, excitement, love, everything at once, in that single moment, as we finally become one”.
